Hex bolts
A bolt with a six sided head.
Stainless steel 18-8 Hex bolts
A corrosion resistant steel alloy. The most common stainless steel for general hardware use.
Stainless steel 316 Hex bolts
A highly corrosion resistant grade of stainless steel. Ideal in salt water and chlorine environments.
17-4 PH Hex bolts
Stainless steel 17-4 PH
A high strength stainless steel with strength properties similar to Grade 8 and corrosion resistance comparable to 18-8, suitable for use in temperatures up to 600° F. Commonly used in petrochemical and aerospace industries. Domestically produced.
Zinc plated steel Hex bolts
A low carbon steel for general use, either Grade 2 or A307A. Zinc plated for moderate corrosion resistance.
Grade 5
Zinc plated grade 5 steel Hex bolts
A tempered medium carbon steel. Zinc plated for moderate corrosion resistance. Grade 5 falls between grade 2 and grade 8 in strength, and is commonly found in automotive applications.
Grade 8
Zinc plated grade 8 steel yellow Hex bolts
A tempered medium carbon steel. Zinc plated for moderate corrosion resistance. Grade 8 is stronger than grade 5, and is commonly found in high strength automotive applications.
Grade 8
Grade 8 steel plain finish Hex bolts
A tempered medium carbon steel. Grade 8 is stronger than grade 5, and is commonly found in high strength automotive applications. Unplated finish.
Chrome plated steel Hex bolts
A low carbon steel for general use. Chrome plated and polished for a mirror like finish.
Hot dipped galvanized steel Hex bolts
A low carbon steel for general use, either Grade 2 or A307A. Hot dipped galvanized is a coating for very good corrosion resistance.
